On 4th, 5th and 6th of April, I had a good time! It Such a GOOD event for us! I am so glad that I made this happen! As a freelancer I am so happy to working like this! I mean, I am a blogger, editor, event organiser, model and all of these are related to ''Creative'', I do love it! I guess I will die if one day my job is disconnected to creative.
Oh! Yes!!! This is my first time to organise a pop up store ( yes another first time! ), and this time we are grouping 5 local brands - BlindbyJW, Dearbell, Chole Pazzo, PeoplebyPeople, POPWEUP.com and 3 music talents - Tim Elsinga, The Homestead and Hexie to have this pop up store at a cafe+gallery and named it as- Mobile Creation.
What is the meaning of ''Mobile Creation''?
Pop Up! It is a trend for all the things nowadays, and there are lots of online stores and they do have good product but how can they let people trust their quality? And also, yes there are lots of online stores, and they only can wait until people click their link which is bit passive.
SO! Why not we bring our good product to the people and shorten the distance?
Let us introduce you the product and let you touch it to feel the fabric and texture.
''Mobile'' means you can bring the thing everywhere as you like, and ''Creation'' means Create, Creative which is presenting the local brands in Hong Kong, they are talented and keep creating nice product with quality to the people.
And I would like to have a Pop Up Store at a Cafe+Gallery because it is interesting and also it is so nice to enjoy the art piece while you are shopping. And on Sunday I have invited three amazing music talents to our event, hope the guest could enjoy the art piece and shopping and music at the same time!
I am so glad that everybody is happy about it and my friend came to the event to support me and the local brands! This kind of spirit is rare nowadays! We should treasure it!
I guess you can feel our happiness and how funny they are through my pictures.
And I do wish to organise another one soon for local brands! :)
I do really really hope to grouping more creative talent to do something. What is ''something''?
I don't know yet but I think it would be an event to let more people understand them. As I see we still need to learn how to respect the creative talent in Hong Kong.
Thank you once again for all my friends come to support me and the brands which joined this pop up store you are all so awesome!!! Keep it on!!!!
xxo
