Vasco - he comes from a Video

The story is-I got a message on facebook which sent by a guy who come from Portugal. He invited me to be part of his fashion video so I said- Why Not? it sounds interesting and I would love to do it!

He is friendly and we have talked about his life and dream, he said he wants to visit many countries and want to see more about the world!

The world is full of Fun and Joy, you never know who you will meet tomorrow and later you will meet them in another corner. I did not seen this fashion video yet and I heard that it is still waiting for the confirmation, but it does not matter! What matter is I have a new friend! : )
( keep rolling down to have a look of the photos xxx )

F:  What is your job?
V: My job is to make videos. So most of the time I like to have the idea, produce, film and edit the video and then, I also like to work with other people, a crew, because thats a great way to share ideas and learn. I mostly work on music videos and documentaries. And my aim is to continue to film around the world so I can travel , connect with people and cultures, live and create.

F:  What inspired you in life
V: So the first inspiration came from my family, their history , what they have done. That's what makes my background. For example my father was a photographer so from the early age I was able to be in contact with photography and being with my dad in the laboratory printing photos made me learn about the creation of images. Then as my parents were immigrants in France in the 70's, that made me think about the adventure and courage they had to move to another country and that brought me the feeling of adventure and how we can adapt ourselves to a different country, culture and people. So in some way that what makes me what I am today. For life what is inspiring me is to know the stories of people who made great things in life, who wanted to change things, who were positive about life, who had big passions, who had the patience to wait for their recognition. That is what makes me never giving up , what makes me keep my mind set on goals, and makes me work and keep dreaming.

F: How do you express your "view" to your movie/video
V: Well most of my videos at some point have something personal of course. From the most childish ideas to complex ideas. But most of all I never like to complicate things. Simple things are the best. So from an airport goodbye to a skirt that makes music, I really like those simple and little ideas.

F: What is love for you?
V: Of all is strong affection , tenderness and loyalty to my family, to my girlfriend , to my friends.

F: Can you see who you are one year later?
V: I see myself keep travelling and working wherever I can, not married, not with a car, maybe with a new haircut. But for me the future is all about creating , travelling and make the best of life.

F: What you must carry when you travel?
V: For sure my camera! I have always my camera with me, because I never know what kind of situations can happen on the streets that I'd like to film. I use it like a diary and a second memory. So I would say the camera.

F: Can you tell me a song that inspired you most?
V: Most of the songs that inspire me are actually classical songs because they are timeless and as most of them are instrumental pieces of art, and this musics guide my mind to everywhere I want or sometimes everywhere they want. They are also very filmic so most of my ideas actually come when Im listening to some epic and orchestral music.

F: What do you think of Hong Kong?
V: Hong Kong is a movie set ! I spent 3 weeks in HK and everyday was special. From the mountains to the rivers, from the bottom life in the streets to the top of the skyscrapers, this is for sure like I was in "Blade Runner" movie . Everything makes noises and blinks. The light here is beautiful. Hong Kong and Paris are the world's capitals of light for sure! In Hong Kong everything is happening every time. I really enjoyed to walk around Hong Kong by the night, and even at 4 am I felt really safe and comfortable and there were people in the streets, so truly a city that never sleeps. I want to make a movie here. I want to come back. I already need Hong Kong .
